Dr. Kevin J Spellman, FRSA
Dr. Kevin J. Spellman is a multifaceted design researcher and artist whose work is shaped by a rich tapestry of experiences. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Cornish College of the Arts and a PhD in Design from Goldsmiths University of London, his creative journey has been profoundly influenced by Dada, reflecting the intersectionality of his identity as a Gulf War veteran, a dyslexic individual, and a gay man. In 2004, he exhibited at the OXO Tower in London in support of Bonnie Greer, an event that played a key role in his nomination as a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures, and Commerce (RSA) in 2007. His work seamlessly integrates fine arts, user-centered design, and innovation, making him a dynamic voice in both artistic and professional spheres.
